Food and farming's influence on society and the environment is perhaps the widest of any other activity that takes place, stretching from landscape impact to animal welfare, from water usage to waste management, from climate change to energy, from local economies to global economies, from poor health to good health.
In a world which is becoming increasingly unsustainable we have to change the way we live and that includes how we view food.
In the UK, the food and farming sector has become weaker and less diverse, year on year, for the past 30 years.
